As soon as I found out I was having a little girl I started shopping. Y’all. I ordered her first Lilly dress on the way home from the ultrasound. There’s just something magical about dressing a little Southern belle! Pastels, hair bows, monograms, gingham, seersucker, smocking, bonnets, sweet embroidery… I’m SO into it! It won’t be long before Alba Grace is requesting frozen dresses and shoes that light up… so I’m making the most of this short window where I get to choose her outfits! I’ve heard other mamas call it a “hobby” and I like the sound of that more than the sound of “addiction” so we’ll go with that. Shopping for baby clothes is a hobby of mine!
It’s no surprise that the Beaufort Bonnet Company is at the top of my list! I adore the classics and their more updated patterns! These ladies have done such a good job putting a modern twist on timeless designs. This is my go-to source for so many pieces, especially spring/summer outfits, bonnets and PJ’s! The quality is great so you can pass items down! I recently shared my Spring favorites in this post!
Use code MCKENZIEF for $5 off your purchase!!! Grace and James styles are so unique! This is quickly becoming on of my absolute favorite children’s lines! I love the pretty floral combos and embroidery! Pre-orders are my favorite way to snag my favorites for each season.
Smocked Polka Dot
Smocked polka dot offers darling southern apparel for boys and girls at a low price point! I may or may not stalk the website for new arrivals! ๐
Remembering Nguyen
This is a beautiful one-stop shop for classic children’s apparel! Timeless, high quality pieces that you’ll be able to pass from generation to generation!
I fell in love with Eyelet and Ivy for their cute pieces made in comfortable kid-friendly fabrics! Everything is beautiful while still being low-maintenance and easy to wash!
Little English
Another all-time favorite! I’ve folded away all of our Little English outfits just in case we have another little girl one day! They’re PRECIOUS!
Another sweet shop that I just can’t get enough of! They have so many cute styles in more casual fabrics which is SO helpful when dressing little ones! This is one of the best places I’ve found to purchase special occasion outfits for every holiday. Is this bunny romper not the cutest thing you’ve ever seen?!
So many sweet Southern pieces at a great price point! The new Spring collection is my favorite yet! I’m still trying to decide between this bubble and this one. If you’ve got a little boy – you need this shortall! Too sweet. Love me some Shrimp & Grits Kids!
Southern to the core! I can’t get enough of Smockingbird! We have a couple of SB outfits in the closet that AG is SOOOO close to fitting into! I try them on all the time to see if she’s big enough yet, haha! Y’all have probably seen me talking about Smockingbird on Instagram quite a bit. Everything is fresh and sweet. Be sure to check out their sale page to stock up for next year!
Use code SOMETHINSOUTHERN for 10% off your purchase! I stalk the Bella Bean clearance and sale pages because they always have the best deals! Love what they have to offer. AG’s 2019 4th of July outfit (yes, I’m that mom) is from Bella Bean and I can’t help but take a peek at it every time in her closet! ๐ Adore these $9.99 shorts for a little boy! It’s also worth mentioning that they have amazing customer service – which is always appreciated!
A darling source for high quality loungewear and pretty basics! I have a pair of their PJ’s (that match AG of course…) and can’t get enough of them! Anything from Lila Hayes would make a great gift! I’ll be packing a matching set in my hospital bag when I have my next baby!
This shop is newer to me but I very quickly fell in love! Such a pretty curated collection of classic baby pieces for boys and girls! This is a another great shop to purchase dressier outfits from!
Etsy
So many sweet accessories, gifts, and monogrammed essentials on Etsy! I’m such a fan of shopping small and Etsy makes it possible to do so. A few of my favorite shops are The Southern Baby, SK Creations, Arabella & Co., StichAbleDesigns, and Lumina Embroidery!
I find so many baby basics on Amazon! I buy all of our Ralph Lauren and Lilly on Amazon! It’s just so easy. Amazon also sells Petite Ami and Carriage Boutique! ๐ The dress pictured in this post is Petite Ami – heirloom quality and so so pretty!
Basics
H&M, Baby Gap and Old Navy (this little swimsuit is a MUST!) are my go-to’s for onesies, tights and other basics!
Where are your favorite places to shop for baby?!
