Cheese, Please! a Guide to Crafting the Tastiest Spread

My guilty pleasure is a good cheese board and an equally delicious glass of wine! When there’s a par-tay or gathering of any sort, my go-to appetizer is a tasty charcuterie board with all the fixins. They’re easy as pie to prepare for your guests, offer a variety of goodies so even the pickiest of eaters have something to munch on, and they’re pretty. So there’s that…

If you’re a charcuterie novice this spread might look a little overwhelming but no worries, your board doesn’t have to include everything you see pictured! In fact, some of the best charcuterie boards are a combination of whatever you have lying around in your fridge or pantry. Switch up your apples for pears, pecans for almonds, salami for turkey, make it your own!

Included in my board: Breakfast Brie, Aged Cheddar, Monterey Jack (this one’s actually a Pesto + Garlic Monterey Jack and it’s AHHHHmazing!) Grapes, Pecans, midget pickles, aged gouda, dry salami, fig jam, crackers, mini toast (a warm baguette is a tasty replacement!), capicola ham, prosciutto, and rosemary for garnish. Hashtag, yum.

Ps. My oversized (it’s ginormous) cheese board is handmade by a local artisan! You can pick one up at Eight Flags Antique Market! #ShopLocal
