There’s no party like an after party when it comes to Lilly Pulitzer! The biggest sale of the year is officially on the calendar. Lilly lovers everywhere are making game plans and checking them twice. I’ve been shopping the sale for a few years now and have learned a ton through trial and error. Today, I’m sharing a few tips with you ladies so you don’t make the mistakes I did! Let’s do this!
If you’ve been reading the blog for a few months, you know one of my favorite places to run away to is Jekyll Island, GA. It’s a little under an hour away from our new house and holds some of my favorite memories. It’s usually a romantic getaway for Pearce and I but I had the pleasure of taking my friend, Hannah when she was in town a few weeks back. You can read a bit more about our honeymoon on Jekyll and our anniversary trip to Jekyll. I SO enjoyed showing Hannah around my second favorite Island (obviously Amelia holds the #1 spot in my book!) and giving her the down low on the Island’s history. Every time I visit I feel like I’m in an alternate universe. It’s amazing!
Today my hubs is officially back to school. He’s switching things up and teaching Elementary school this year, can’t wait to hear the hilarious stories he comes home with! Kids are stinkin’ hilarious. His students had bme laughing all the time last year. Today is also Monday which means I spent yesterday coming up with the most ridiculous, extremely long, list of “to-do’s” that I’m just now trying to dig my way out of. Definitely more of a wishlist, and I’ll share more on that later this week! Stay tuned. One thing that seriously helps me get through busy weeks is planning out my outfits in advance. Might seem a little silly as I work from home, but there’s still a morning rush in this house. Planning helps keep me from crying in my closet because I “have nothing to wear.” It’s happened. It’s probably happened to you too so don’t judge. A go-to for me: cutesy shorts and a simple tee. Super easy to accessorize and the perfect casual outfit for errands or sitting at my desk 8+ hours a day!
Below are 11 pairs of shorts I think you’ll love! They’re all under $100 and most are tried and true favorites. If I haven’t tried them myself, they’ve been recommended by other blogger and friends that I trust. P.s. We’ll still have summer weather here for the next couple of months, hence the shorts vs. jeans!
